An internal green glow accentuates this highly finished large format oil painting. Developed largely en plein air - painted directly from the edge of the river ( this section can be observed off the cross island highway that links Tofino with Nanaimo on Vancouver Island B.C ) - the working method adds to the intense reality of the piece. This commissioned painting took 7 months to plan and complete and was unveiled to an appreciative audience and its patrons April 28, 2012.
